GHIC provides independent advice to apartment buildings and developers looking for a way to deliver in car park EV charging solutions for owners in apartment buildings. We focus on providing solutions that enable every owner the ability to charge their EV in their car in their own car park and not rely on a common shared facility and all the problems that sharing creates.

Our Aim is to provide the Owners Corporation or a Developer with the policies, technical framework, and commercial arrangements that make in car park EV charging a reality.

We provide buildings with a clear alternative to the limitations of a shared charging station.

Our Deliverables include:

  1. Feasibility studies for individual buildings constructed for their specific requirements.

  2. Providing the Owners Corporation with a workable EV Policy and bespoke EV Ready Strategy tailored to the needs of a building.

  3. Work with electrical contractors and electrical engineers to identify the least cost technical solution to deliver EV charging in a building to an owner’s individual car park.

  4. We assist Owners Corporations with the development of the legal and commercial arrangements to ensure an Owners Corporation complies with the requirements of the Victorian Owners Corporation Act 2006 and the National Electricity Law and of implementation project management of contractors and EV charging suppliers.

  5. We undertake survey owners in a building to provide Owners Corporations with the likely future demand for EV Charging and the attitudes of owners to the building being made EV Ready.

  6. Manage independent tenders of suppliers of load management and billing systems and EV charging hardware on behalf of the Owners Corporation to deliver the best technical solution for a building.

  7. Project Management of the implementation of a building’s EV Ready Strategy.
